Week 14

Week 14 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Bress
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Andre Johnson
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Abdre Williams
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - DeAndre Hopkins
K - Adam Vinatieri
DEF - Philly

Week 13 Recap: 5 straight wins!  Fact: If TDs plaid his optimal lineup he would have scored 197 points!

Week 14: TDs vs PDs... The matchup cannot get any scarier. PDs has dominated this league since day 1 and has arguably the greatest lineup in history of 10 team leagues.

BUT

TDs is on a Cinderella story that he does not plan to stop. Perhaps the only thing scarier than an impressive team is a red hot team. Of course PDs is favored but I think this matchup is closer than the league believes. Watch closely for perhaps the game of the year.

Players to watch: TDs Andre Williams is on upset alert

Week 13

Week 13 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Bress
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Andre Johnson
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Martavis Bryant
K - Adam Vinatieri
DEF - Philly

Week 12 Recap: Yet another win for TDs and another step towards the playoffs. This Cinderella story continues!

Week 13: TDs is taking on Tavon who in their easiest matchup in weeks. Tavon's team can score though and it's another must win situation for TDs. With the playoffs upon us TDs needs to worry about points forced as well as wins, we cannot slow down, we need to step on the gas.

Players to watch: Steelers WRs could make the boom difference this week that gets TDs the high score he needs.

Week 12: Rivalry Week!

Week 12 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Bress
WR - Andre Johnson
WR - DeAndre Hopkins
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Kendall Wright
K - Adam Vinatieri
DEF - Philly

Week 11 Recap: TDs won their 3rd straight game and continue their march to the playoffs. It was the lowest score in the 5 weeks, but the W is what matters most.

Week 12: TDs faces Ertz for the 2nd time this season. Ertz is on a two game losing streak and while they cannot make the playoffs, ending TDs chances would make their season end on a positive note. It's again do or die time as this is every week between now and the playoffs.

Players to watch: Sproles, he's a boom or bust that could be the deciding factor

Week 11

Week 11 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - DeAndre Hopkins
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Heath Miller
Flex - Martavis Bryant
K - TBA
DEF -  Denver

Week 10 recap: Another win for TDs. Philly DEF showed up huge, and TDs ended up posting the 2nd highest points in the league this week. A huge win and a statement to the league that TDs is not gone yet.

Week 11:  Last week was a good matchup, but this week is a HUGE matchup against 4th place Whitner. Back to back wins is a good start, but must continue for TDs to make the playoffs.

A loss means TDs has almost no shot to  make the playoffs... but a win will bring TDs that much closer.

This is the game of the year.

Week 10

Week 10 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Martavis Bryant
RB - Eddie LacyRB - Darren Sproles
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Kendall Wright
K - TBA
DEF -  Philly

Week 9 recap: TDs got the much needed win this week! A solid performance all around led them past the sure favored La Flama. As all year the WRs stepped up and carried TDs to victory.

Week 10:  A big matchup against the Morgans is here. TDs has 3 start worthy WRs on a bye, which could prove troublesome, but luckily they still have 3 WRs to lean on. Starting opposite league leading Antonio Brown will be teammate Martavis Bryant. The red hot Steelers Big Ben has made these receivers exploding fantasy starters. Ben cant possibly keep his stats at the pace he is but until he proves otherwise all eyes are on the Steelers offense.

Playoffs are 3 games out.... a win is a must still.

Week 9

Week 9 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Andre Johnson
RB - Darren Sproles
RB - Darren McFadden
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - DeAndre Hopkins
K - Adam Vinitieri
DEF - Philly

Week 8 recap: Another week... another loss. Although, TDs performed very well scoring 147 points that was enough to beat 5 other teams in the league. TDs has his team heading in the right direction, making improvements week after week, but they can't seem to find the W.

Week 9: Brees had his best week of the season, but if he wants to Peyton this week... he needs to be more like Peyton, Thursday could be a break out game for Brees. If TDs wants a win he needs Darren^2 to run like hell.

Playoffs are not gone yet.... but it's literally do or die this week.

Week 8

Week 8 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Andre Johnson
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren McFadden
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Pierre Garcon
K - Adam Vinitieri
DEF - Philly

Week 7 recap: TDs had a bounce back performance and was able to put up a respectful 123. Unfortunately, their opponent had an amazing week. The week itself was a huge turn for the team, but at the end of the day the L almost ruins TDs playoff hopes for the year.

Week 7: McFadden is getting the start after a Sunday morning change of management thinking. TDs is still waiting for Brees to post a huge week, as he has only reached 20 once this year.

This is a must win week.

Week 7

Week 7 Starting Line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Andre Johnson
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Isiah Crewell
TE - Jason Witten
Flex - Pierre Garcon
K - Adam Vinitieri
DEF - Denver

Week 6 recap: ......

Week 7: Gotta put the past behind us. Management is making moves and not afraid to give guys a chance who probably shouldn't start. A message has been sent to the starters. This team needs to put up a fight before we laughed out of the league.

This is a huge week to turn the season around.

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Pierre Garcon
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Larry Donnell

Eddie Lacy started off week 5 with a bang! He boosted TDs to a 30 point league and flipped the script on the favorite to win the matchup. Hopefully the momentum holds through the weekend.

Week 5

ShowMeYourTDs  vs  The Real McCoy

Starting line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Emmanual Sanders
RB - Eddie Lacy
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Gates or Witten (GTD)
Flex - Kendall Wright
K - Robbie Gould
DEF - San Diego

Week 4 recap: TDs got off to another slow start in week 4 but was able to come back against TR^2 only to fall short and lose. Downtown AB proved he's on a mission to be the #1 WR in the league, while Chicago DEF proved they longer belong on the roster. Credit is owed to TR^2 on his win.

Matchup: TDs welcomes Lacy to the team after a trade that sent Ellington to PDs. Lacy is off to a slow start but TDs has faith he is ready to start his season this week. McCoy is the favorite with a solid starting line up this week. This should be a close game to the finish.

Players to watch: TDs TE position and Chris Ivory

Week 4

ShowMeYourTDs  vs  The Reckoning Rises

Starting line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - DeAndre Hopkins
RB - Darren Sproles
RB - Steven Ridley
TE - Antonio Gates
Flex - Kendall Wright
K - Robbie Gould
DEF - Chicago

Week 3 recap: TDs started off so slow they weren't even moving, but then the turn of the tide came at 4pm and a light at the end of the tunnel appeared. Lead by Downtown and Sanders TDs made it a game. But it wasn't until the surprise Monday night performance of  Chicago DEF and poor performance by Marshall that they succeeded.

Matchup: TR^2 is on a mission, to put away TDs after TDs turned down a trade offer including Larry Fitz. TDs is unfavored, and might be lucky to walkaway with some dignity from their lineup which could be called The Replacements (Falco anyone?). But TDs still has leaders in Brown and Brees, and guys like Sproles who could pop off a 30 point day at any moment in his high powered offense.

Players to watch: Stevan Ridley and Donald Brown

Week 3

ShowMeYourTDs  vs  Advantageous Morgans

Starting line Up:

QB - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Emmanuel Sanders
RB - Andre Ellington
RB - Darren Sproles
TE - Antonio Gates
Flex - Kendall Wright
K - Robbie Gould
DEF - Chicago

Week 2 recap: While it wasn't pretty, a win is a win. Both teams underperformed against each other in what was an odd week for the league in general. Sproles proved he's a work horse that is here to stay and boosted TDs to their first win of the season.

Matchup: The 0-2 Morgans are looking to strike this week and begin their season. TDs is still dealing with the loss of first overall team pick Peterson with his legal issues. It's time for guys to step up and show the world why they made this roster. TDs is not favored to win, but are still waiting for star athlete Drew Brees to have his break out game, perhaps it's week 3.

Players to watch: Pierre Garcon and Kendall Wright

Week 2

ShowMeYourTDs  vs  Tavon and Only

Starting Line Up:
QB  - Drew Brees
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Emmanuel Sanders
RB  - Adrian Peterson
RB  - Andre Ellington
TE  - Dwayne Allen
Flex - Kendall Wright
K  - Robbie Gould
DEF - Denver

Week 1 Recap: The early games started off great as TDs was showing good signs with early points coming in left and right. They seemed to stall as the games went on, then Monday night proved to be too much for TDs and PDs bounced back and then way ahead being lead by Julius Thomas.

Matchup: Tavon had an impressive week 1 win boasting 140 points lead by Matt Ryan and and Megatron. He'll look to exploit TDs who is looking for a rebound week to start the year in the right direction.

Players to watch: Andre Ellington and Doug Martin

PDs vs TDs in week 1 will be a tradition in the years to come.
After the trade a few days ago this has quickly become the matchup of the week.

This game couldn't be closer! Two of the top 3 QBs face off. PDs dominant WR core against TDs stud RBs. PDs takes the TE advantage while the flex goes to TDs. It may come down to the kickers or defense to pull out the win.

Players to watch: Everyone! It's week one baby!

2014 Draft Results

The 2014 draft which took place at TDs venue today was smooth sailing. Overall, TDs  has mixed feelings on the results. He did two things he said he would not do; draft a QB early, and draft 2 defenses. Despite that the team still has a different feel to it than prior years, which could prove favorable.

Draft Results:
1. Adrian Peterson
2. Antonio Brown
3. Andre Ellington
4. Andre Johnson
5. Emmanuel Sanders
6. Ray Rice
7. Kendall Wright
8. Jordan Reed
9. Jay Cutler
10. Darren Sproles
11. DeAndre Hopkins
12. Denver DEF
13. RGIII
14. Hakeem Nicks
15. Chicago
16. Robbie Gould

Favorite pick of the draft: Emmanuel Sanders - huge upside on such a high powered offense

Power of the 3rd pick

An argument can be made that only top 4 RBs exist in this draft. The 3rd pick will give me the power to grab a top tier RB, or shock the league with an early grab of perhaps Megatron, or a Peyton Manning. After all a QB has been the most productive fantasy point provider the past two seasons. Not to mention Manning added WR Emmanuel Sanders from the Steelers this offseason. Another top prospect is Megatron, his productivity and skills on the field speak for themself.

But could TDs really give up a top tier RB to grab the #1 WR or QB? RB's are more injury prone, and the top RB changes every single year, so it's not too hard to believe after all.

38 days and counting....

5 thoughts in the upcoming season:

1 - Week 1 is perhaps the biggest challenge of the year, PDs will draft extremely well and be more than ready to go. Look for this to be game of the week.
2 - The end of the season looks to be a tough road to the playoffs
3 - Rivalry weeks are perfect placement this year
4 - There are no easy games, all managers have proved themselves
5 - Let's Go.

Celebrity Sighting

Some know him as the worlds most interesting man. Others call him the man, the myth, the living legend. Now, TDs fans around the globe can call him a friend. He was spotted at the local bar Redzone in the stadium district over the weekend. The answer to the question we have all been waiting patiently for was finally captured. Who does the most interesting man in the world root for on Sundays?

"I don't always watch football, but when I do, I root for ShowMeYourTDs"

The TDs are honored to welcome their newest member to the 12th man fan club.

The 2014 Season Arises

Days before the draft:

Draft week. As the Columbus Blue Jackets best season in franchise history comes to an end all focus can now be turned to the NFL draft and preparations for the 2014 MFFL season.

Coming off a non-playoff contending performance in 2013 the TDs are fueled by the disappointment to ensure a playoff run that leads to a championship in 2014. TDs management is willing to try a new approach to the draft that could yield huge results. With this years option to move draft slots, perhaps the most important decision is made prior to any players being selected.

The TDs are 3rd in the league for overall records after 2 seasons, but the stats don't matter if you haven't won a championship. There is only goal: Champion
