Week 9

#6 ShowMeYourTDs  vs.  #4 Tesus crusades

Starting Line Up:
QB  - RGIII
WR - Roddy White
WR - Mike Wallace
RB  - Trent Richardson
RB  - Ahmad Bradshaw
TE  - Tony Gonzalez
Flex - Marques Colston
K  - Shaun Suisham
DEF - Green Bay

As feared, last week TDs suffered an upset loss to La Flama Blanca. Both teams had weaker performances and unfortunately TDs was worse than his. The players that are relied on to carry the TDs to victory came up short and played well under projections. Now with a record of 4-4 the team that was a front runner for the playoffs has a lot more to prove.

This weeks challenger gives TDs a great chance to redeem himself and regain a playoff spot. Tesus just so happens to be 1 game ahead and currently ranked 4th. A win for TDs will definitely keep him in the hunt and back on the side of a playoff favorite. Despite being favored to win this week (and TDs has a track record of bouncing back and getting a win), he will need his starters to step up and produce. RGIII is a without a doubt a key player in this matchup, along with Falcons players Roddy and Tony.

This is a big matchup against a division rival... A must win for TDs

Week 8

#4 ShowMeYourTDs  vs.  #9 La Flama Blanca

Starting Line Up:
QB  - RGIII
WR - Roddy White
WR - Mike Wallace
RB  - Ahmad Bradshaw
RB  - Trent Richardson
TE  - Tony Gonzalez
Flex - Marques Colston
K  - Shaun Suisham
DEF - Green Bay

Last week proved well with a victory that resulted in week 7's biggest blowout, despite only scoring 109 points (mainly due to players on their bye week). However, this week brings a new challenger. Don't let La Flama Blanca's record and 9th place rank fool you. This team has put up consistent numbers the last 4 weeks scoring 120, 134, 128, and most recently 115. There is plenty of potential on his team to defeat the TDs this week, but I'm confident that my team will carry me to the checker flag for the W.

League Projections:

ShowMeYourTDs finishes the season in 3rd place with a record of 9-5
Power Rankings: ShowMeYourTDs in 2nd place, Perpetual Dynasty ranking 1st.

Fun Fact:
After the draft TDs was projected to finish dead last a with a record of 1-13.  Clearly this manager saw something the experts missed, while he also made some great trades that built a competitive team

Week 7

#5 ShowMeYourTDs  vs.  #3 The Real McCoy

Starting Line Up:
QB  -  RGIII
WR - Mike Wallace
WR - Marques Colston
RB  - Ahmad Bradshaw
RB  - Trent Richardson
TE  - Fred Davis
Flex - Denarius Moore
K - Justin Tucker
DEF - Green Bay

This weeks match-up happens to be the most anticipated of the week. TDs is without 4 starters due to bye weeks and McCoy is also down 3 players. Despite that though, the odds look to be in my favor. RGIII is coming off his best week of the year and will likely rack up points again through the air and on the ground. The receiving core is strong as usual with Wallace and Colston who could break out for a 30+ point game at anytime. Bradshaw although facing a touch NYG defense is coming off a great week against the number 1 rushing defense San Fran. With that said, the line up weakens as Gonzo is on a bye forcing TDs to start Fred Davis. And Trent's status is anything but solid to start which could also cause problems since TDs has no other RB on the roster at this point in time, should he be unable to start Sunday.

On the other side of the ball is McCoy. Reggie Wayne is on a hot streak and will be a threat to TDs. Also appearing to be potentially dangerous is Aaron Hernandez and CJ Spiller, both back from injuries and already finding the end zone. Although McCoy is projected to lose the match-up his team shows underrated players which has me on my feet and worried about this week.

This one could come down to Monday night to decide the victor.

Week 6: Wrap up

Only one word can describe the highly unexpected loss I suffered to Bo during rivalry week..... Disappointment.

After my strongest performance of the year in week 5, I felt great heading into week 6, as did my peers since I received every vote to win the match-up.What pulled Bo to victory was the shocking numbers that his running backs put up, including Shonn Greene's 35 fantasy points and Chris Johnson's best week of the year earning 15. The heart breaking part of it all is how poorly TDs starting lineup performed. Trent Richardson and Michael Turner only combined for 10 points. As well, Cincinnati's DEF fell apart and only managed to score 2.

I will be back for revenge in week 11...

Week 6: RIVALRY WEEK!!

The much hyped and anticipated Rivalry Week!

Starting Line Up:
QB - RGIII
WR - Roddy White
WR - Mike Wallace
RB - Trent Richardson
RB - Michael Turner
TE - Tony Gonzalez
FLEX - Malcom Flyod
K - Justin Tucker
DEF - Cincinnati

Let's start with the beginning:
As you may know my rival is Beaus N Hoes managed by Alex (Bo)hanan. Bo and I happen to go way back. We've been in school together since 1st grade and we became friends not long after that. I have watched Bo grow up, literally, and he has had football in his life for a long time. In 8th grade the Steelers were playing the Patriots in the AFC championship game, and the Steelers were heavily favored. I told Bo I would bet him $1000 the Steelers would win, and he said no bet.... well the Steelers lost! And when I got to class (still furious about the loss) all Bo said to me was "Man, I should've made that bet" with a smirk on his face. Thus, a rivalry was born...

Today:
Bo and I remain great friends today, despite living with each other for 2 years in college  and watching countless match-ups between our favorite teams.. We have competed in fantasy leagues before and always enjoy the competition of trying to beat one another. I'm excited to have Bo as my rival to carry on a tradition for the years to come in the MFFL.

As badly as I want to win this week, I must give my compliments to Bo. He has a powerful team to say the least and despite his surprising losing record, I know his team can blow up any given week, which is why I fear this match-up.

Best of luck Bo! And may the Rivalry live on....
